Last week, I dipped a bit into how our current economy is shaping our holiday shopping season for this year. In some ways, not ideal, but it’s also apparent that shoppers aren’t necessarily deterred from still making sure they check their family and friends off their list like they do every year!
And one way that you can do this while still making a more conscious shopping decision for this year can be in the form of shopping local.

2022 Holiday Gift Guide
This year we’re highlighting our Berkshire Packs! With many different themes for many different moments in our lives, our Berkshire Packs are locally sourced.
We look at every Berkshire based artisan that we order from to make sure it’s the highest quality so you know your gift will meet the standards of you and your recipient.
Below are just a few of the packs we have to offer!
For The Aunt Who Said This Would Be Her Last Year Teaching, Again
You’ve got that one relative who truly has found their passion with teaching, and yet you know how tough the past couple of years have been for them.
Welcoming them with a Rest and Restore Pack from our Berkshire Pack line offers them a hand selected at home spa that will surely aid them in keeping up their strength for one of, in my personal opinion, the most selfless jobs out there.
You Don’t Wanna Give A Gift Card *Again* But…
I certainly have family members that I see their name on the list and ask myself I can’t go with the gift card again!!
Now with that said, we have a Berkshire Pack that turns that on its head while also giving you some gifts, as well! Our Keeping It Local Pack is geared more like a starter for your own Berkshares journey.
What are Berkshares you might ask? Put simply, it’s the currency of the Berkshire region. To take the spirit of shopping local even further, this pack comes with an amount of Berkshares that you can take to participating shops in the Berkshires to further ensure you are keeping the local economy not simply surviving but thriving! But a few small local goodies were thrown in the box, for good measure.

For That Friend Who Wants Something New
A few of our Berkshire Packs aim towards helping our specific institutions in the Berkshires, as well. One of my favs is our Inspired By Immigrants Pack, perfect for someone who is looking for something new to appreciate. The pack features a wide variety of items (subject to change) that were selected in tandem with the Berkshire Immigrant Center. And proceeds from your purchase will go towards BIC, as well!
For The Cousin Who’s Always Following A New Trend
We’ve shown you plenty of ideas for our pre-themed packs, but it doesn’t stop there! For those relatives who just can’t quite fit into a mold (and good for them!) we are also able to fully customize a pack for you using items from our other packs, and other items from The Shop! We always say come by and see our selection in person to help make your decision.
